Practitioner Biography

Jackie O’Meara, AP, DOM is a Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician who has recently launched her new practice in North Palm Beach, Florida. Jackie graduated from a five year program at East West College of Natural Medicine, Sarasota, Florida with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  She is  Nationally Board certified (NCCAOM) in both Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (chinese herbs).  Jackie interned for over 18 months with a Chinese MD and acupuncture physician for additional clinical experience.  She also attended training at Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in China in 2009.  She has received additional training in advanced acupuncture injection therapy and is certified to provide injection therapy for a variety of ailments.  She is also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist having trained at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx, NY. 

Prior to becoming a practitioner of Oriental Medicine, Jackie graduated from the European Massage Therapy Institute where she learned massage, lymphatic drainage and foot reflexology. She also attended training at the Upledger Institute for cranial sacral therapy and has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chapman College.
